Ice Cream Social and Study!

It's summertime and that means ice cream!!

Tuesday, May 22nd: 7:30PM at ColdStone Creamery on 82nd and University. We may go to a local park afterwards.

Tuesday, May 29th: 7:30PM at Heather's house. Meet and decide on timeframe for study, "Financial Peace: Revisited". If you haven't bought a book, you can buy one at Mardel's or online at Christianbooks.com or Overstock.com

Easter Sunday and next week!

Easter Sunday brings about a new change! The Heights Fellowship will be moving to its new location, 66th and Iola. (Between Frankford and Milwaukee, next to Club Rodeo) For this Sunday, the service times will be 8:31, 9:46 and 11:01. Hope to see you there and can't wait to be at the new location!

Tuesday, April 10th - Meet at Sugar Brown's (4818 50th) at 7:30 PM. Just a time to catch up and decide what to do next!

Captivating

The singles group is taking the next few weeks to read the book called "Captivating". We are studying why women are the way they are and how God has created in us and given us the desires that we have.

We meet on Tuesday nights at 7:30PM... and next week (1/9), we will be covering the first two chapters. Hope to see you there!

The Nativity Story

We'll be meeting on Tuesday, December 19th at Tinseltown (82nd and University) at 6:50PM to see "The Nativity Story". Hope to see you there!

Holiday season and next event!

Our study of Beth Moore's A Woman's Heart will be ending tomorrow night. Please keep checking back for more information on upcoming studies. We may be taking a break until after the new year begins from studies, but we'll definitely be planning times to get together.

We, in the singles group, hope that each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday to be spent with those that you love.

Our next event will be on Friday, Dec. 1st, at around 6PM. We will be meeting at Heather's house to head up to the Texas Tech Campus for the Carol of Lights. It's a very fun time of fellowship, carols and lights. We hope that you'll be able to join us!

No weekly meetings

Our group has decided that until mid-November, we will not be having any weekly meetings due to the women's ministry bible study and Financial Peace University.

However, keep checking back each week because we will be planning one or two events a month whether it be eating dinner, watching movies, or going to local fall attractions (ex. cornfield maze).

Here's the plan!

Saturday, Sept. 9th

Meet at Noon at Heather's house and head to Idalou Apple Orchard for the Apple Butter festival. Admission is $3, lunch is $5 and apple turnovers are $2. Hayride, apple picking, petting zoo, and bands for entertainment! Should be a great time!

The coming weeks...

We have decided to join the Women's ministry on their Tuesday night Beth Moore bible study. Due to that, our singles small group will be meeting on Sundays at 5:00PM at Heather's house for a time of fellowship and discussion.
